The Office of the Chief Kazi to the Government of Tamil Nadu hereby announces that Shab-e-Meraj will be observed on the night between Thursday, 16 January 2026, and Friday, 17 January 2026, corresponding to 29th Rajab 1447 Hijri.
In view of this, the month of Rajab 1447 Hijri will commence on Monday, 22 December 2025, subject to moon sighting confirmation as per Islamic guidelines.
The faithful are advised to take note of the above dates for religious observances.
